Artist/Designer for Tinnitus Relief Request game app for GIMO & the University of Auckland

People suffering from Tinnitus have a constant noise in their ear even when there is no audible external sound. It basically comes from the brain, which creates a phantom sound. Usually it’s a high pitched beep that never stops and varies in intensity.

The University of Auckland conducted a study and found that if they make players focus on a game where they have to “find” a specific sound, they are most likely to feel better on the long run. So they decided to create a game that can work on mobile to help those suffering from this infliction.  What follows are samples of the game’s art and design.
